Need More Updates

I really REALLY want to start blogging more but I've lost touch with the blog world. I guess in a way, that's a good thing ~ means I'm hopefully more present with my husband & girls. I thought about kind of changing it up ... making this blog not just about the family but about life in general & mom stuff like mom tips, recipe exchanges, spiritual stuff. I'm thinking since I live in mommy world, I'm probably not going to have a ton of guys that want to catch up on what's happening with the kids & all my stuff but you never know. I hate to lose touch with leadership, service programming, etc. I need to think about that a little bit. But for now, here is what's up with us.

I'm sick. The doctors don't really know what's wrong {other than my obvious sore throat, fever, etc} but gave me drugs. I'm not supposed to be around the girls right now which is REALLY hard. So, my mom & sister-in-law have the girls today so Micah can work. I'm so grateful & I know that the girls are being super spoiled & loved on. Here is a picture that they sent me of the littlest one at the pool sleeping. Isn't she just so sweet?! Can't wait until I can squeeze her again. :)

Disney World!

Once again, I'm behind!! We went to Disney World in March ~ well, b/c we like Disney World & b/c they were offering free admission on your birthday. Since my mom & I have the same birthday ... we both got in for FREE. The girl is under 3 so she was FREE too. Too bad we couldn't figure out how to get Micah in for FREE. It was a fun day! And it was our last little trip before bambino #2. Enjoy!

The Beach

A couple of weeks ago, the girl & I headed to Florida for a little vacation from Georgia. My mom lives down there so why not go & enjoy the warm weather, sunshine, pools & beach. It really was so NICE down in south Florida. I know why people flock down there in the winter.

Cold Weather FUN

We have surely had some yucky weather lately. Yesterday, it was cold but very sunny. The girl & I thought that it would be a good idea to get some outdoor play time so we bundled up & headed to the playground in our neighborhood. In true little girl fashion, she brought her baby doll with us to play. It was nice break from the interior of our home. When we got back, we enjoyed some yummy hot chocolate with mini marshmallows. Today, it is even colder with a freeze warning coming tonight. Guess we won't be venturing out again soon. Wanna come play? Got any great winter "fun things to do" that you want to share with us?

Goodbye 2008, Hello 2009

It's hard to believe that another year has gone by already. How on earth is time passing us by so quickly?! Haley is growing up so fast. We look forward to 2009. Our family will be expanding & that will be fun (& most likely challenging too!) I look forward to building deeper relationships with my husband, my daughter, my family & friends AND especially with Jesus. Can't wait to see what He has in store for the new year. Happy New Year!
